We know first-hand the struggles of being parents of vulnerable children, which is why our services are tailored around their and their families’ needs.
We offer the following:
We support young people ages 11 - 16 at risk of dropping out of school due to anxiety or other mental health issues.
We run art courses that end with the young people displaying their designs at a special exhibition for them to build confidence and creates an amazing sense of accomplishment.
None of the children believe they can achieve all of this at the start ... but the course works, and they do. It's amazing to see and be a part of.
Persistent absence due to anxiety or mental health issues affects around 3 children in an average sized class.
The impacts on these children and their families is profound, and support is very difficult to find - all channels are overwhelmed (schools, CAMHS, ASC pathways, NHS, SEN & EHCP processes etc etc).
Hope4More acts as early intervention and supports these agencies, young people and their families and makes a real impact - improved wellbeing, reduced social isolation, new skills, social interaction, school attendance improvements ... the list goes on.
We accept private and publicly funded young people in classes of 4 - 5. Access to person centred counselling is an available by arrangement. Our staff all have advanced DBS checks and have lived experience so are very very empathetic and understanding.
